Were junking the FC project that was nearly almost done and ready to be turned on b4 we ran into this deal on craigs list. The story is as follow my little brother was on the net searching through craigs list saw the add for the Datsun 1200 being sold for 1200 bucks firm. My brother called the guy up my brother told him we only wanted the rolling chassie you could keep what ever you want. The dude said if that is the case i will keep the extra parts you take the car the way it is in "RUNNING CONDITION" for "800.00 bucks. There was no way in hell we were going to let that pass up so we jumped on the deal scooped up the car. Everything that was going on the drag FC is now going on the Datsun 1200 here is a link from the other project!!!

hey teddy i am going to need a bracket made for my fc drag car, i have the gsl-se front cover and need to have a long piece across from frame to frame to support it. what would u need to make it

You should have bought Jame's 1200 for almost the same price. It comes with ford 9" already.

i talked to my brother he said he is pretty happy with the car, the first thing we were going to do do is getting started on it's single cam motor and drive it to work on monday with a disconnect exhuast and make some noise before we take the heart out. So guys if anyone is interested in the motor and tranny and drive shaft please let me know.

Were going to leaf spring the rear end with a ford nine inch drive shaft loop custom drive shaft turbo II Tranny with a 12a tail shaft housing 13b street ported motor with custom turbo mani on t76 dual ball bearing turbo. Tii front suspension fuel cell in the back koyo radiator in the front were running supposed to run 3 msd 6al's but were just going to run 2 of them and 4 LS1 coils (MSD'S) and some other a whole bunch of other stuff!!!

 

nice car I used to had one with a 13b streeport and it was fast...

 

Is there a kit that is already made to convert the the front suspension to Turbo II suspension if not fabbing some stuff up won't be that hard.

I've always wanted the notch back style 1200. I like them more than the fastback ones.

 

i need opinion from you guys were going with lamborgini orange with a pearl. The vinyl top is (white) in color. I wanted to paint the car in labo orange with the pearl and put the original white vinyl back on what you all think?

One of my Puerto Rican friends showed me the pic on pistonvsrotor.com. A while back i got the nickname "morcillo blanco" after i asked why in the hell someone would call their car "morcillo"? He was showing me the pic of morcillo's car and i ran across that pic. My friend told me that was the first BP car he had ever seen or heard of (loquito's car).

Well here it stripped down to the max minus the door pans !!!

Were cutting the complete floor out from the fire wall back and installing a full roll cage with new floor pans. Its going 3/4 chassie for right now but, later down the road after the car has been ran we will full chassie the bitch . But for time purposes were trying to get El nene's car here to do work on his so he can start body and paint on our turbo datsun from him.

We decided to go with the labo orange with a white painted top.

Guys one more thing the dash the back seats. The motor and tranny from this car are for sale which are also in running condition are up for sale as well as the two front seats. The back seats and the front seat have no tears in them or any cracks there in %100excellent condition any questions please ask.
