Can a 13b from an FC be dressed up as a 13b from an RX-4?

I'm probably displaying my ignorance here....
I'm the guy who found the RX-4 in the junk yard in the thread below. It doesn't have it's original engine; someone put a 12a in it. I want to put a 13b back in it, but I don't want modern fuel injection or turbos...I want it to be stock looking.
So my question is: Does anyone know if you can put all the ancillary parts from a RX-4 13b on a 13b from an FC? Intake, exhaust, accessories...stuff like that...will it fit?

Thanks for patience, I'm new to this stuff

The older 13B's are 4 ports and the newer 13 B's are 6 ports. You Would have to start with a 4 port if you want it to look stock. You can get carbureted manifolds for 6 port's but they will be aftermarket. Personally I think a fuel injected setup in your RX-4 would be a good custom setup. I plan to do it with mine.

the difference like stated above would be the intake ports. try making a 4port motor from turboII side housings if you realy NEED a 4port.

turbo II engines are 4 port so you can work from there. but if you want to go n/a then you will want to rebuild it with higher compression rotors (and probably have to change a couple other things).

if you look around, sometimes you can find a 13b from an rx4.. that is what i have in my first gen.

I believe there is a 13B 4 port from an RX-4 for sale on E-bay. It comes with the whole car and it looks cheap. Search under e-bay motors then search for RX-4.

The 86 motor can be moded to use carbs.
Racing Beat had an adaptor to run 6ports with a 4 port intake.
You will have to use the front cover of the old motor.
Get the injection dowls from RB. They plug off the injection holes.
There is more too... Go to the 1st gen forum and ask" 2nd Gen motor to a 1st Gen body?????" See if anyone responds to that.
Most all the info will apply to your project.

Or you can do it by putting in a Re-Manufactured 4 port 13b in your car. Thats a whole other can o worm.

I would approach any old motor with at least having core potential.
You may luck out and get one that doesn't use oil, but at least you can have something to send to a remanufacturing firm.

u can get an adapter plate that will adapt the 4 port intake to a 6 port engine.

You will also need a GSL-SE oil pan adn possible oil pick-up tube, and the EGR blockoff plate from RB or the carb won't sit flat (at least my Weber didn't).

The average person looking at it won't be able to tell that it is not the original engine, only the elite rotor heads will be know
