626 Struts in FB

make your coil overs by using a pair of 2nd gen rear springs and if your lucky some gen 2s have removable spring perches on their rear after market shocks which you can use on your first gens front struts they will have to be welded once you remove the fat original spring perches, its what I did to allow more wheel clearance, when I did my 5 bolt gen II turbo brake conversion on my 85 gsl, just remember you can raise or lower your car by where you mount the coil perch as well you can tailor the spring by trimming the length( makes it firmer),don't go crazy just try a coil or 2 and test it to see if it works for you.......................................

Slap me for replying to an ancient thread but:
What did you do to raise the ride? I am in the same boat and don't want coilovers. (mostly because of €$)
For the rear longer springs and shocks should work (right?). If yes, what shocks?
And what (besides of adapter plates) work for the front struts?
Help a rally friend out and enlighten me,
Regards
(and show some pics of your car, I stalked your posts but found nothing)
