Pics of how I made the boat. It is a replica of a 1934 Gar Wood. All wood parts are cut out with my CNC router.

The company that marinizes it, Rotary Power Marine used to have a website but no longer. I think they are still in business though. Anyway, they have a contract to get new Mazda blocks from Japan. They use the Turbo II block with mechanical OMP. This engine, the naturally aspirated one (I have two of their FI supercharged versions on the shelf) has a Racing Beat intake and 4bbl Holley marine carb 450 cfm. I am still dialing it in at present, originally it had a two barrel on it with a different intake. I took apart an unmolested Racing Beat 465 cfm to get a baseline on the carb, still playing with the jetting.
It also has a 1.5:1 reduction gear to reduce propeller shaft speed and increase torque.
Personally, I think the 175 hp rating is optimistic.

Last I checked they were pricey. $8500 for the naturally aspirated one like I have (I negotiated a better deal 3 years ago) and $12k or more for the supercharged. If you are interested, I will sell one of my supercharged ones (low hours used on a prototype boat then removed).
