13B-T Corolla...been done?
Just wondering if anybody has seen/heard of another one? I've seen plenty of ae86 corollas with 12A's, a few with carb'd 13B's and the one monster 20B corolla. But I've never seen one besides mine with a complete TII swap that is going to be pretty much daily driven.

umm no offesnse to you or you friend ,but the 12a is a poor chice to stick in that car in my opinion. Dont getg me wrong 12a is a good motor ,but if you want to see power you need force induction. He should have put a 13b in there if he wanted NA power ,but I do give porps for the time and effort that was put in it Very unquie.

Yes, you can put a 13BT in a Corrolla and using the TII transmission. You will need to fabricate custom engine and transmission brackets and custom driveshaft, I think that you need to modify the steering rod, I dont remember exactly. Friend of mine owned a 1985 1.8 Corrolla with TII engine and transmission and was for dayli driver until he convert it into a racing machine running 8.30 in the 1/4 mile drag racing with full body chassis. Also you will need to modify the radiator hoses and other small and cheap modifications, like a/c compressor hose modifications, etc. It will work for daily driver like a RX7

My bud in Oz has a 74 Corolla 2 door sedan with a 1000 RWhp 13BT running a T78, I was present at the dyno run and it is a fact, car was called Kermit, green obviously.
