well I changed my spark plugs, my car idles a lot better now. Right after I changed my spark plugs a friend from my dorms came down and wanted to help.... they always want to help as your cleaning up. Anyways after I Started the car and showed him around the rx7 explaining the whole... triangle spinning in a oval ..... (gets old after awhile) anyways I had to go give my girlfriend something so I took off and right after I hit 6k in first I heard a loud POW...... ...... I kept going haha ..... I was like well if its blown its blown .... least I Wont **** the g/f off. I went to go take a turn onto stadium way from the dorms and my car wouldnt turn..... AHHHH no power steering ... haha I turned as hard as I could and lucky no one was in the far lane as I took it wide.
Turns out I blew both my AC and PS belt at the same time. Fixed and works great again now.

hey, I have seen a red s4 with s5 front bumper and s5 taillights twice now. I havn't had time to talk but I did leave a note on the windshield. The hatch has a big silver handle to open the hatch, and the shifter has one of those huge bubble shifters on it. I'm pretty sure its NA. I had a quick convo with him and his very smiley g/f at safeway but didn't much info. I think his name was nami. (or something like that) anyways there is another red s4 around here.
I'm going to be heading to seattle on the 20th to get ready for the drift practice at the evergreen speedway. I have ordered some DTSS elims, 2 pinion snubbers, oil adapter with oil temp and pressure gauges, and....... a mazda rx7 jacket. If anybody is interested in seeing how to drop the whole rear end on our second gens let me know. It's always more fun to have people to talk to, and the extra hand is always useful! I will be doing it as soon as my pinion snubbers show up. (monday ish)
Anyways, cya all around.

I have recently discovered that the red first gen you saw is housed at the apartment complex across the street from my area. I see it leave every couple of mornings while I wait for the bus.
I'd be willing to check out you lowering the rear end. I'm always dieing to learn more

ok cool. Well I have a few things going on the next few days hopefully when shipping delivers all my stuff. I'm pretty sure that I am going to drop the rear end while I am in the schucks parking lot by mcdonalds in case I need some tools I don't have. The DTSS eliminators are supposed to be pressed in ... but since I am dropping it completely I think I can be creative and use some bushing pullers or even a big rubber mallet. We will see. I have your number, I will call the day everything gets in and see when a good time for you is.
I had an issue with my right wheel that I fixed by tightening my "castle nut". I was measuring how much a 1 inch wheel spacer would push out my rim and I noticed that the bottom of my rim was further out than the top.... scary. Took off the rim and the little hub and now its perfect. Removed the little pin and tightened the nut. I don't get any wheel hop now when I turn left. yay. Car feels a lot better, now I just need to get some washers for the steering rods and I should be all ready for drifting. The washers on the steering rod add more steering angle, allowing your to turn and counter steer more. I will find out how much, but they predict 5* more with just .25 inch of washers on the rod. Should be fun, but I have to do that when I get an alignment.
Cya in a few days when everything comes in.

awwww craps.... well I'm getting the rest of the parts on Thursday. I won't have time to drop the rear, take off the rear wheel assemblies, press in the dtss elims and install the pinion snubbers all before I have to leave at 5:00. Let alone do it in the same day without all my tool. I will have to do it Thursday night while I am home and with all my tools. SORRY! I hope I didn't ruin your week. haha just kidding.
Anyways, wow crunch time for me. Although I can take out a blown 13b and have a running turbo NA engine in 3 hours, I'm not sure if I trust myself with the rear wheel assembly. I'm nervous to do quick unfamiliar car work... not good.
wellll... that was my semi rant / self reflecting public thought for the day.... take it how you will.
I just hope I bring the 7 back in 1 piece.

Wow, that sucks man. Sorry to hear that. Are you going to get insurance money for all the stuff? I'm going to be drifting in monroe on sat! You should come and bring the fd!!! I promise that if I crash I will save the hood!
I think Chris is about ready to put his engine together, I haven't heard much else from anybody else in Yakima. I hope to represent this weekend.
Again thanks jenkins for everything! I wouldn't even have the rx7 still, let alone be getting ready for a drift if it wasn't for you. You are the man!
