I was merging onto I5 NB at the 41st ST exit/onramp. I looked over my shoulder to check for cars, and when I looked forward I was already spinning. The car turned around and I was facing traffic. I tried to make it so the impact would be as low as possible on the wall, and hoping I didn't hit any other cars. And SMASH into the wall (left hand side). So you can see some fresh red paint on the median now... ugh. WTB wheels lol.

I'm so glad I bought a subie, haven't had any problems since. Although, in my 240sx a couple years ago, I hit some black ice and slid into a curb, bending the tierod, LCA, and strut. The following year, I did the EXACT same thing in my SA.

Marshall13b; Time to get some over fenders and deep wheels. Are you on the MazdasNW forum by any chance?

Yeah I stop by time to time. I was actually thinking an older RS. Those are sick. But yeah I already had a lateral link bent which should be here soon. We have a few sets of wheels at work I may be able to snag.

I did the 360 once.... on purpose lol. It was sick. But scary. But sicker.

So yeah. Looking to get some parts guys! I scored 3 nissan maxima wheels, need 1 more (or I'll just roll 2 different wheels for now) and I have a lateral link on the way. I need a rear bumper and fuel lid cover. And saterday when I go to work I'll check out the suspension to see what else I need. Does anybody have a LR control arm? I think I smushed my new exhaust too haha.

Bummer dude... I almost got taken out today, in a major way straight did a partial wall ride in one of the 90 tunnels after I got cut off and had to do two sharp turns to not drive under a semi.

It doesn't look too bad though you can probably have her back to new in no time

Last week when it iced over really bad at night, I was headed home and spun my truck 3+ times. I was going around a slight curve in the road, truck next to me was going 60+. He had no problems. Suddenly I was sliding sideways, staring at the wall... I finally got it under control, ended up facing backwards, across two inner lanes in the middle of a freeway... I sat there, just open mouthed, wondering how the hell I did not put my truck in the wall. While I attempted to start my stalled truck, I watched 2 other cars go IN to the wall. They were not as lucky as me. My truck finally started after it sat for ~5 minutes and I drove home, white knuckled... I was lucky this time.

So yeah update. I got 3 nissan maxima wheels (looking for a 4th) and the shock is busted. So I'm looking for a set of shocks or used coil overs. So far that's all I can tell. May need new control arm too.
