Well I divorced the 7.

Well I traded the 7 for a miata plus $500 then with in the same day I traded the miata for 2k worth of tattoo credit. So my 7 thats only worth $1400 I got $2500, not to bad if you ask me even if most of it is credit.

So here is the new project, 71' Opel GT. Pic's from when I just got it home, I need to take a few new ones after the little work I have done.

1.9l 4 cylinder with 100hp, thats not good! Going to pop a 2.5 KLZE in and a Miata 6-speed and rear end hoping for 230-240Hp. In a car thats 1700lb thats all you need to make it real fun

Seen 1 of those with a rotary in it about a year ago. It was actually the first Opel GT I had ever seen so I thought it was supposed to have it. lol. Good thing it was an Opel meet so I learned I was wrong pretty quick. Looked really nice with it though.

Thanks, one of the best looking IMO to come out of the 70's.

I was thinking about putting a street-ported 13b into it, but I don't think I will go that road with this one. The KLZE will be cheaper to build up and I think the noise of KL fits the car better.

I think the GT is how the designer really wanted the stingray to look, So much smoother and better flowing. Its just to bad they had to make the GT so under powered, but I guess it would be kind of a sin in GM to make a car thats better then a Vette.
