Stolen Black MK2 Supra -- Portland REWARD

I just went out to find my car gone this morning. It's a black 1985 as shown in the pictures below. If anyone in the area sees it please let me (503) 492-2863 or the Gresham Police (503) 823-3333 know. It has custom clear corner lights, and probably still has some shoe polish on the driver's rear 1/4 window from the last event. The driver's rear fender flare also has some chips so its speckled white. The front cloth seats are also from a RA celica (while the rest of the interior is leather) so it should be pretty easy to identify if you see it parked.

WA license plates 085 SAY

Shoe Polish can be seen from this picture ("B6" with 6 dots below it):

Police just came to take the report, here is the reference number: 05-15925

There was no glass on the ground, and the ground was wet so it was stolen late last night or in the early AM hours (the rest of the parking spots had dry centers from car's blocking the rain). Thankfully the parking lot is under survaillence at night so hopefully that will help the Police, but as is typical with my experience with Police, a $3000 20 year old car is not a primary concern for them (not unless its going 5mph over the speed limit -- but i digress)...

I'm hoping it was a joy-ride too, there was no radio in the car and the only item of value in the interior was my $100 racing helment on the passenger floorboard (which is black and blends in).

I am offering a $750 no-questions asked cash reward for the return of the complete car.

I've got to be the luckiest SOB alive. The car was recovered a few miles away. No external signs of forced entry although the steering lock is broken now. The fuel was right at "E" when I parked it, and my theif was kind enough to leave the car with 1/4 tank. He did help himself to adjust the mirrors and perform the customary ghetto recline of the driver's seat, and he must have bought a 5th Avenue candy bar as there was a wrapper on the passenger seat. The books and helmet I had in the car were still there (although moved to the rear seat so he must have picked up a buddy). Even the Shoe-polish numbers were still on the window and so far everything looks ok (there was a flake of paint missing from the front lip so I suspect he got too close to a parking curb and flexed the bumper). All in all I'm very happy and would like to thank everyone who kept an eye out for it.

Holy crap! Great to hear you got it back man, I love older supras like yours and it'd of been a shame to have such a nice condition one be stolen and just messed up. =/

But wow weird, you got our car back, with nothing stolen, and 1/4 tank of gas...

Probably some thugs "borrowed" your car for a drug dea/drive by ...
