The car that was stolen was the owners son at NW Auto body in Post Falls, Idaho. He really loves his car. He had just had it painted about a month ago. I hope he finds it. The word is out, hope someone spots it soon.

[B]I have a couple of questions? The licence plate is from what state. What colors are the plates. Is there any thing else about the car a rx-7 owner may notice?
I also ask are these cars easy to steal? what do we need to do to prevent this?
I have refused shop work of businesses that will not park the car inside after hours. One experience I had with a shop is that my tires and wheels where stolen. $1200 worth.
Good luck and I will keep my eye out.
I have an idea. Place an add in the paper for a part that is specific enough that you could connect it to the car. Once you get in tell the suspect you actually are looking for one or two more things. Do you get my drift. It will take good bullshit to make the play but sometimes when money is involved people get short sighted. It sounds like the paint on the car alone will seperate it from other rx-7s. I have had a car stolen also so, I know how it feels. lots of luck and keep us posted.

Car is probably the only FC in WA that is bright bright metallic purple (barney purple)or (plum crazy) purple. Its extreamly noticable. Yes these cars are easy to steal. What I do to prevent someone from stealing my car is do a hidden fuel shut off switch, alarm, club, and garage + one other deterant I cant mention for my well being. Not to mention good luck trying to start it.

I guess since the car has been parked for a long period of time, a tow company was about to impound the car. The police had notified owner. The person that stole the car put about 300 miles on it. The police do have a name they are looking for to question, as this person tried to sell the car to a chop shop here in the Spokane area. First name is Kenneth k. We will post with further information if person is caught, so that other 7 owners can beware of this individual in our area.

As everyone has heard I went and picked up our previously stolen 87 RX-7 We are very happy to announce that there was no damage to the car other than a couple of scratches on the bumper (buffed right off!!) The only thing missing was the custom 17" wheels and stereo system. I can live with that. Did a check on all fluids and put some gas in and she fired right up.I would like to say thanks for everyones help that looked for the car.
Thanks Ray
Thanks Ray
