rocko-7 .....NOV 30

Officially, taco7 has went into hibernation for the winter, and while inside its warm cocoon of hot food, cold brew and good times.... it will be moved to the ROCK brewery on the far corner of the same block that taco7 was held.... we've decided to move it there, for the obvious reasons... cold weather, lack of space and lack of brew! Hope as many folks that came to taco, will come to the rock!

Same time... 7-8pm arrival, or whatever... Last fridays....

Liking the turbo? No traction in 1st or 2nd is fun, huh?

Steve Kan told me, " a car is not fun until you can break it loose in 3rd, that is when things start getting interesting"

For rotards I go pretty much anywhere within an hour and a half drive... Technically I could sell you a house anywhere in the state... I just hate commuting =)

I absolutely love it!
Last night me and Valerie raced a f430 ferrari! Same color blue as the turbo with the convertible top off, car looked so beautiful. The driver did a ricer fly by at about 90mph, since I was in 5th around 60 I downshifted to 4th and caught him in maybe 3 seconds, he pulled over a lane to see what caught him so fast and then gave me the most puzzled look I have seen
We lined up around 80 and I was tring to get him to race hitting the boost/bov, he downshifted and took off, suprised and off gaurd by the fact a ferrari driver actually was using his car I threw it to third for about a half second and then 4th. With his f1 tranny he put around 1-1.5 car length on me after his downshift but I quickly recovered that car length after I hit 4th and had full boost, we took it up to about 95 where I was pulling on him and then I think we both realized that if we really wanted to race 405 was not open or long enough to safely do it. The ferrari driver quickly took the next exit in bellevue, made Valerie and my night though.
Pure awesomeness!

note I did not change the profec to 'hi' either.
I completely forgot to change it in the 60 seconds this race was happening, looking back I didn't even need it.
teh 7 can't lose !

*Evil voice*

Now imagine if your turbo was bigger...

I tried talking Chris into this forever, he liked the quick spool, can't say I blame him.

Quick spool is great for track, autocross, twisties. Big turbos are great for Drag racing.

I drive my 7, on special occasions... Cuz I currently have no reason to license it, other than to drive it and have it break down on me... No thanks! I'll just wait til I get a new motor while I drive my reliable piston powered car SO stfu if you wanna see my 7 at the next meet!
