I met Eric at the South Hill Mall cuz he and his mom give terrible directions to the Lakewood home he was at and sent me the wrong way getting off the freeway =P Some of Eric's friend's were out there at the Jack in the Box and wanted to see my whip. Then we drove River Rd then went down the waterfront and eventually up to 5 mile. Then I let him drive it to go get food... It was just a wonderful cruising day. I ended up with a sunburnt left arm and face. lol One arm on the door the other one on the wheel and sunroof open =)

It's the VIS version. Didn't have any fitment issues and I used the Tein Hood dampers which did have some minor fitment issues when closing the hood. Had to remove the fender bolts closest to the firewall in order for the hood to close fully without bowing. I have found the the heat disfigured it a little bit. And those shields behind the pop ups that are attached to the stock hood do not re-attach to the VIS. The holes are too big for the plugs. There is also one blemish where the clearcoat bubbled on the corner by the passenger side firewall. Can't see it unless you look for it.
However it has done exactly what I got it for and that is to help release the heat. I didn't have any engine temp gauge prior to putting the hood on, but engine temps have gone down noticeably. And cooling time after parking the car has decreased dramatically. Also my bov and intercooler pipes sit right below the main vents and it adds bling factor for the guys driving by in vehicles that tower over mine to gawk at... lol And holy sh*t is my bov deafening without any hood to muffle it
