May / June sports car drive

Hey guys!! Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out to the April 7th meet!! That was my first time ever planning an event like that and I felt like it went well. The Wx was not the best but it did not rain for long. There were some nice cars that braved the rain to make it out. I want to get a feeling for people who might be interested in a drive. On April 8th I went out on a drive and I think it would make a good sports car drive. There were alot of turns and straights mostly 2-lane Highway so you get the idea. I left from the Lynnwood Park and ride and went North on I-5 to 128th. From there I headed out to Snohomish. From there I headed out to Hwy 2 and drove to Monroe. I caught Hwy 203 out of monroe and went down through Duvall and Carnation. That was where the most of the twistys was. I then went up to Snoqualmie falls and Finaly out to north bend where I got on to I-90 and came back through Seattle. The whole drive was about 60 miles. I only used about a quarter of a tank so if everyone is full before the drive there should be no need to fill up. One thing I would like to do with this is try and get as may people involved as possible. I am calling this a sports car drive because if we do this I am going to post on Subaru forums, North west Nissan, MazdaSpeed forums, Honda forums. (Yes Honda) we might see one or two nice ones. BMW-M forums. I want to just have like all the sports cars in the NW turn out for a big drive. I figure a meet with this many cars would work at the Lynnwood park and ride on a weekend since it should me mostly empty. And if this works out maybe we can make it an anual NW sports car meet. If anyone has any suggestions let me know but I think this could be big. This would be a nice way to bridge all the clubs and get a good fun drive.

Cheers!
Chris

sounds exciting...i always loved multi-forum meet/drives, let me know if you need any help with coordinating your event, or any advertisement if you decide to go through with it. Make sure you go through all your logistics first before sending out a notice.... looking forward to summer multi-forum meets...there needs to be better relationships between the different communities. Hit me up about it..if you have AIM my sn is Wingskippy

I grew up out on those roads, and many much better if you get off the highways. May is already getting pretty solidly booked for me, between the yet to be determined TWR drive, mother's day, memorial weekend, and 1000mi group drive to Idaho. June should be more open for me.
