Got me a supercharger!

Chill a little, I wasnt the only one that called you on your first post, there was like 3 other people also. I dont want to fight about your car at all, frankly, its not really worth my time, cus it always comes down to the same thing imo: You talk your own car up all big and talk about how certain places of business are ausome and your so happy with the thousands of dollars that you spend but then you turn around and settle for a car that doesnt even meet your own expectations. So there you have it, i really dont need to debate anymore. If your so in love with a supercharger, you should abondon the camden and persue something more practical such as this set up that 88integra is working on, at least you would be able to intercool. Good luck 88inegra, i look forward to seeing your set up work.
ps. code blue, if you have anything else to say just pm me, we dont need to air our arguments out here.

Personally,
I think all you turbo guys might want to take a trip to the track and see Codeblue's car run before you go knocking the car or stating here that codeblue has to be wrong.
If you haven't witnessed the car run, you have nothing to say, period.
As far as the tire spin goes, it is true, the car does loose traction hitting 3rd, and as stated by Codeblue, it is because the car has a hard compound Yokohama tire on it.
I HAVE been to the track (Bremerton) on the days that Codeblue and the Atkins crew have been there, HAVE seen the car run and have personally driven the car.
Now, all the arguement over which is better, turbo vs supercharger, is senceless, it serves as much purpose as arguing over what came first, the chicken or the egg?
Each has it's own followers and each has it's own purpose.
Lastly, I hope 88 isn't planning on running at any NHRA sanctioned drag strip, according to NHRA, only strait roots type blowers are allowed, and that is the reason Camden chose to mfr only the strait roots type of blower.

For the record, I have seen the car run, if you think 14's are fast then fine, but ill tell you i hope you dont race many FWD hondas or integras, because most decently swapped b18c1 civisc or turbo 4 bangers will tear that a new one. I refuse to settle for something of that level.

Roto,
I can't say that I remember ever seeing you or your car at the the track racing when the RX7 forum people are there, I can only remember seeing 3 - 1st gen's run, Atkin's, Codeblue, and Iotus. And as far as the civic's and 4 bangers the ones that do run at Bremerton and are faster than 14's happen to also be running NOS with the oversized turbos. So lets see, if you take a 14 sec car and add a 200 shot of NOS, ya I guess you are right, it will be faster than 14's, but what would I know, I'm just a girl

Yes we can aggree there, the civics running faster than 14's, lets see here, if i had a civic with oversize turbo that would net me about 300 wheel horse plus the 200 nos, then yes about 500 wheel horse, if i had a 500 wheel horse honda i would run 9's-10's. So ya thats faster than 14's. And please dont take it that i dont beleive you about anything because your a girl. Also I was there i chose not to park my car by other first gens that appear to be "riced out" because of the number of stickers on the car. I get sick of always arguing with you guys on this stuff, for once i would just like someone to come out and actually do what they say. I also think its kinda sad, the amount of money thats spent and 90% of first gens and 2nd gens are slow.

Well I agree will take this to PM...but one last comment. You have seen my car run when it has had the carb setup. Not the new setup. From day one you and I have not liked each other and thats very obvious. Even comments from Apple Blossom threads cutting my car down and saying its slow. You are always saying your car has this or that and is much better if so, well bring it on rotortuner lets see what youve got. Oh thats right your afraid of damaging your car...I forgot.
And I think I will stay with Camden ty.

I think the problem is my tires not getting traction. And could be the driver also. Ive had these yokohamas on the car for a couple years now. They seem to have good thread on them still, but I hear they are a real hard tire. I hope to go out to the track tomorrow and see what I can do, but if not tomorrow the next race day is the 27th. I think the car will be in the 13's with the 5lb boost. That hp reading was with the 5lb pulley on it. All in fun anyway...

hey. just wanted to say that my car rips them in 3rd. soooooooooo whaaaaaaat. i don't know how to drive either. and i have cheap tires. and my car is a hell of alot slower than any of yours. ha ha ha neener neener neener. mine can do it. there now that thats over. i'm gonna get a blower too. gonna convert my air pump to blow into the carb. it will be like a mini turbo. ha ha ha. i should be pushing 90to 100hp. runnin 12's cause i,m gonna get slicks. hell, i'll even throw some MEK into the gas and get more power. so lets goto the track.

Code Blue, is that a 6-port 13B? I recently had mine re-built by Rob at Pineapple, and told him I plan to SC it in the future (stage 3 oil mods, TII housings, street-port). Prolly next summer when I also plan to switch to propane. Are you using a FMIC? Where did you find the Camden?
When I talk about this with members of RPNW I sometimes get resistence too. SC's aren't efficient, etc, blah blah blah. I just prefer the way they drive to turbo's, don't like the idea of a turbo restricting my hot exhaust at high rpm, and fun is all I'm after.

Rotortuner,
You sure talk a lot of CRAP. Every time we post it seems that you have something bad to say about my car. I think the real reason you talk so much crap, is you are chicken to race your little white car against all my stickers.
IN FEAR YOU MIGHT JUST LOSE. Bring it on unless you are worryed you might break something. I know where you can get parts for cheep.

This thread got ugly . .
LTI-7, I'll run my car as NA on the 11th but the supercharger won't be boosting for a while, at least not until I get larger injectors and a Haltech system installed and tuned. I'm thinking 3+ months until the car's officially no longer NA, although it might be possible to hit sub 14.5 range after some extend porting and exhaust work I'm about to do. I'd like to see your civic in action. One guy had a turbo civic at the last street legals that ran 12.2 . .

Here's a pic of what the supercharger looks like, taken from ebay. Air comes in from the back and goes out the side, and the gearbox in in the pointed nose. The rotors are some kind of woven fiber and resin composite material, and they are the tan parts in the one pic. The gear train is totally quiet, but the rotors make a popping sound as they compress air and then release it as it gets to the exit port.

Absolutely not, my header will go there, leading to that afterthought of a cat I showed u, and maybe a custom catback later . .
I'll be shocked if ur TII aint going in 3 months, don't let me finish first . . hit the 12's like the hondas, come on do it!

I think tire spin comes down to tire size for the most part.
88, just do it, and be done with it. Dyno it, and take it to the track. It'll end all the arguments. I think 200rwhp is obtainable on 5-8psi fairly easy. You remember how much power I made while still being n/a on a very small street port.....
Codeblue, you should upload your dyno sheet to http://www.catenet.net/dyno.php
It would be interesting to compare it to my all my different dyno runs on there.
