But they aren't really rotary gurus Red... That's the problem with shops in WA, they aren't familiar with tuning rotaries... Intech says they do but after speaking with them I don't trust them. It's either Groundzero or take advantage of Steve Kan's May and June tuning sessions in Olympia

Yeah I got to agree with Tim on this one. I would only take my FD to rotary specialists. If you want it done right take it to guys that have tuned 100s of these cars. Its worth the little extra time and money to get it done right.

well i agree they arnt rotary gurus and what not but they do know how to tune timing and fuel. and they just dont do things by ear they do alot of research and i have no doubt in my mind that they would call a company like cork or pinnapple if they needed questions. personly i am going to take my car to them to get dyno/tuned when that happends. personly i wouldnt take my car to intec unless i was going to get a custom sound system, but if i had a honda they would be the first one i would hit up. but you cant go wrong with kan thumbs up to kan. just woundering how expensive is steve kan?

His rates vary and they depend on two things: what turbo you have and what boost setting you want.
There is something to be said for tuning a rotary car. Talk to a piston tuner and he will most likely tell you he doesn't want to touch it. It's MUCH defferent than tuning your standard piston engine. I would put some more thought into taking it to n inexperienced tuner and sayin "oh well if you need help just call these guys and ask them". It's not THAT easy. I had a local tuner working on an IS300 project I took on for a friend. He did what you are talking about, and it did absolutely nothing to solve the situation. If you want your motor to last use THE RIGHT tuner the first time and every other time after that.
You might as well tune the car yourself and just borrow the dyno. Save yourself the money they're gonna charge for tuning and you'd have the same amount of rotary tunning knowledge as them...
