Drift Fest '05
Although some here may not be into drifting I am posting it for those that are. Also many may be interested in the Car Show part of the event. So come on out to Monroe and enjoy a Sunday with other auto enthusiasts.
Drift Fest is bringing Drifting and a Car Show to one location. On Sunday June 5th at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA you will be able to find all the entertainment an automotive enthusiasts will need.
The Drifting part of the event will be open to all who register. Allowing local drifters the valuable track time they need to perfect there driving skills. There will be instruction for those still learning the skill of drifting. We will even have ride alongs available for those who are interested in the sport but do not have a vehicle ready to start drifting yet. With all these options it allows people of every level to enjoy the day.
The Car Show side of the event will again be open to all who register. Displaying some of the NW's Phatest Rides. Many different trophies in numerous classes. 'Best of Show' winner not only wins a trophy but also a small feature in an up coming issue of Performance Auto & Sound Magazine. DB Drags will be brought to you by Car Toys, the better way to go.
There will be tons of other entertainment through out the day. Including some great DJ's, some of the NW's hottest girls competing in the Bikini Contest, and much more. Come and experiance the Northwest Premier Drifting Event.

Track lay out likely to change. We have decided to change things a little. Originally we were going to have it like similiar events and have everyone one run the track back to back but many complained they were doing track in like 10 sec. then sitting to 10 minutes. So we were going to split into like groups of 5 then each group get like 5 minutes. This also allows for better instruction allowing you to make changes right after instructor makes the suggestion instead of waiting for your next time around.

Driftfest 05'
I signed up 2 weeks ago, I'm wrenching on my car every chance I get to to get it ready, got me a set of Enki 15x8" gold mesh 4x110 for $150, just need to get some rubber on em. One more Skilz day till the Fest. I suck but I try really hard. Not alot of power on a stock 12a, but enough to get'em spinning. I gonna fab up a oil pan that will keep the oil down low, keep getting low oil light in hard drift.

I'm in. Gonna take the turbo AE-86 down there.
It's gonna fill up so if you wanna race $45 for a full day of track driving is insanely cheap.

Car looks great. Glad to hear Ground Zero is coming up. It would be nice if they showed some support for the local events by getting a booth or sponsoring it, but not all shops work that way.
