300 hp is a goal more long term. My short term goal is just getting it t2 swapped. Than from there building high hp. So 250 is a resionable goal for now with streetport and other supporting mods like rtek and injectors....
But for now. Just getting it painted is what I need to do. Just get all the body work done. I havnt done any work on it in over a week because of no money and I have no supplies and now I am being sent away for 2 weeks for a business trip kind of deal. So I probably won't get a chance to work on it till after the new year

if I have to Do a FULL rebuild with Apex seals that makes my project more expensive.
I would prefer to buy a Running long Block and just drop it in that would be the easiest.

Dude, I hope you never have to take off a fender or the bumper, that would suck big time.
Why are the rear bumber and sideskirts not moulded in?
Other than that looking pretty good.
Apex seals aren't that expensive... but why would you only need apex seals? Full Rebuild requires more than just Apex seals.(bearings, all rotor seals, rotor housings, lapped irons. ect)

These apex seals are expensive.

dont put just a coolant seal in, If taking it apart why not use renesis rotors, or rew's? Dont waste time with 3mm seals, just get some medium priced ones. Take your time on the build of it and it should be fine.

Looks like you've done ALOT of work. Kudos on persiverance. One thing, if you used bondo/fiberglass to "fill" the moulding channels, you may be sorry in the long run. Best to tack in thin wall sheet, then fill and sand gaps/seams. Eith the weather temp changes up here and the flex/jarring of the doors, filling them eventually either cracks or looses bond in weak points. If you "have to fill. drill a series of small holes along the area first and grind with rough grit, then tape a mesh/screen on the inside before you glass. Makes for a much stronger bond. It also won't split or break when some *** decides to t-bone your door with a shopping cart or thier door.

The REW rotors are just the same as s5 T2 rotors, 9.0 compression. The 8 rotors are insanely high compression and definately a no go for boosted situations. Assuming he was starting with a s4 T2 block the rew rotors would "swap" in as long as you changed the front counter weight and the flywheel. More parts to buy and more more cost. What he should consider doing is swaping in s4 N/A rotors. They are 9.4 compression and weighted the same as s4 T2 rotors. No need to change front counterwieght and flywheel. I have done this. As long as you are not trying to make 350+ hp there shouldn't be any issues. It also cuts down on turbo lag and gives a nice bump in power.
Reusing apex seals is not always a bad thing. If there was ever one internal engine part I would reuse to cut costs it would be nice condition apex seals. Go new on all soft seals and springs though.
As for the progress on the car.... impressive dedication to the project. It's always nice seeing someone put so much into an FC. Reminds me of my youth, fleeting as it is.
