So sad indeed. Really breaks my heart to know that people in this world end up in such a dark place that they feel the only excape is to end their life. No one should have to bare that kind of weight.
My prayers go out to him and his family/friends. May he rest in peace.

Tremendous loss! Not only to the Rotary world but more importantly...his family! Although I never met Blake he has always been quick to reply to questions I had via PM's. Super great guy who always willing to help a guy out! God bless! RIP!
You will be missed!

Wow! Having just read this comes to me as a great shock! Having only talked a couple times in person, seemed like a real genuine guy and great asset to the rx-7 community. He will be missed.

it's funny, i was on the board on Wednesday and thought to myself that i hadn't seen him in a while. now this ...
i never actually knew him, but we've had some pretty good idea exchanges and conversations on this board. i definitely enjoyed and appreciated the times we spent in this forum. i will miss him dearly.
R.I.P. Blake and hope to finally meet you someday and talk more rotors.

Ideas for a drive-
Maybe re run his last run to Manzanita and back
I know this might be way off the wall but maybe this time next year do a memorial run of one of his GRM routes. The one time I did meet him we talked for a long time about crazy drives and I remember how he was laughing about some of his crazy adventures

but if it is something that has to be put off until next year then it would be way cool to gather as many rotory lovers as possible from all over, form a big convoy of sorts to a location to be decided and have a big rally in his honor.

I did not know Blake but from his posts. It was clear he had an encyclopedic knowledge of Rotaries and automobiles. I wondering if he had a degree in mechanical engineering. I relished reading and learning from him.

aint that the truth. Sometimes it reaches the point where it doesn't matter if you have someone to talk to or not....the demons just get the best of some people.
I didn't know the guy, never talked to him....but judging from all the responses he must have made quite an impact on a lot of people, helping them out with rotary trouble, or just being a good guy. Definately downing.
