Hi guys,
I live in Lake Oswego and just bought a 88 vert. needs a lot of maintenance done since the previous owner was a dumbass. I have some questions
1) is there any good reliable rotary shops that do maintenance? I called up Rob from pineapple racing, he referred me to Twin Oaks Autoworks in Beaverton, they were helpful and friendly but no one really knows about rotaries. So I just want to find some one who knows rotaries to do a tune up and check up on my car.
2)what color is 88 coolant? My old coolant was watered down badly so I couldn't tell. Mechanic used the GREEN colored one.
3)I have a full exhaust from Racing Beat: Header, Presliencer and cat back. The previous owner put the stock exhaust manifold and cat on and mated the RB cat back to them to pass DEQ, now I want to get rid of the stock header and cat and put the RB header and presiliencer on. But the mechanic says it is a 2 HOUR JOB to take the stock header off. IS that right? Is it easy to do it myself??
Thanks a lot
David
