Meeting place for all of the Oregon people who want to caravan up to the meet

Hey all you Oregon people. Well I found a good place for all of us to meet up fpr the caravan. The Delta Park Burger King . I-5 & Whitaker Road, Portland, OR 97201
exit 307 I-5 north (same exit as P.I.R.). Turn right off of the exit and Burger King is just down the road to your left. Easy Freeway access . Now what sounds like a good time for you all to make it ?10- 10:30 and leave about 11 or do we need more time ?

WWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! This is just freakin rediculous. There's the Global Import and Domestic show that night AND the all Mazda meet? I'm doing this SIFF (Seattle Independent Film Festival) 48 hour film contest that WHOLE WEEKEND. I want to go so freakin bad but I can't just blow this off. Hmmm, the wheels in my head are turning... I'm thinking maybe convince my friend to put some of this in there, that'll justify it.

I can take some good onboard video same with Apex. We have Samsung X digital camcorders with pencil cameras. I can convert the video to DV for you and send the CD. But you got to give me tickets to your premier and a copy of your finished product.

Just thought i would let anybody planning on trying windy ridge out on the way back that it is still closed. I talked to the lady a Eagle cliff store AKA northwoods and she said there is still nine feet of snow on the road, and the gate is closed (see pic) I got about a mile or so up the road when i started coming across downed trees and branches, no good for nice cars

what you cant read on the sign is it says windy ridge is still 37miles away

Hey there. How about this route? I figure we could all meet up in castle rock still. and then just head a little north and get on 6 in chehalis, then take that to raymond, then south to astoria, then head back to longview and then everyone can split from there. it would be about 3 hours of driving i wuld guess. ive done runs to astoria lots of times and its always fun.

anyway just my 2 cents.

thanks,
Chris

heres a map of what im thinking....

Looks good but I'm not the one who started this whole thing.Got people from the B.C. Mazda 3 Club that I'm meeting up with on Friday night .I think this was going to be more of a sitting/show and B.S.ing event than a good drive .We'll get the drive in this summer or late spring and hopefully get more people to show up and yes I 'll remember this time "gravel before bridge"

oh ill still show up just so i can hang with some fellow members. and the route planned for heading to st helens is a pretty good drive. ive done it several times with some biker buddies on my R1. nice road with great views and some good twisties. just not very long is all. and its only a there and back drive. but hey its cool with me. better than nothing thats for sure. also once we get to the observatory there are some really nice regional maps they hand out there that have some pretty bad *** road maps and such on them for planning future drives.

Space, take me off the list. I popped my engine last week. I am pretty sure that I will not be able to get it up and running by then.

If I'm not shooting my movie this weekend, I'd like to come with a friend, only thing is he drives a Kia. So if that's "uncool," maybe we could tag along with someone else that has a car... Maybe. If there's someone in Seattle that wouldn't mind

mothers day weekend isnt the best for me, thats for sure.

why not hold a meet up in packwood and you can get alot of the central wash peeps also.

maybe even morton. they are small towns and would appreciate some extra revenue for sure.

mermorial day weekend and labor day weekend packwood has a GIANT swap meet where the little town of 200 people get flooded with about 10,000 swapmeeters. it would be cool to run through town with a **** load of mazdas.

sounds like its time to clean up the mazda 6t9
