1990 RHD FC3S Walkaround

Bought it for 9k, a pretty penny! Normally I would have bought an FD but I've already owned 2 and I've never had an S5 Turbo let alone a true JDM right hand drive model. This is seriously my dream car so even though the price is steep, it was well worth it to me.

Did they have the car already in the inventory or was it something you were requesting special? Looks like now you can start disassembling what you don't need or no long have to have.

It's funny because I just moved to WA last summer and I drive a 2015 CX-9 as a daily and I took it to the Mazda dealer one rainy morning to get the oil changed. When I went to Parts and Service they had a rotor housing and rotor clock from Atkins sitting there and it spurred my interest to check craigslist for rx7s in the area. Lo and behold I came across this one and It's exactly what I've been looking for for a LOOONG time! Having owned just about every other model of FC ever made, 2 FDs and an RX8, I finally came across MY unicorn! They special ordered it from their import broker and when it arrived the guy flaked and didn't buy it. The shop specializes in Skylines and on the rare occasion the get something like this. After getting my oil changed I made a trip to the bank and was off to Monroe that evening to pick this up.
As far as dismantling what I don't need, I pretty much bought it to stay near stock and enjoy driving it as is. It's hella fast and well put together, I'll tell you one thing, those Japanese guys sure know how to dial in a ride! Other than a few cosmetic things like a front lip, S5 skirts, wheels and tires and interior stuff, I won't be changing much. There is only 80k miles (129km) on the clock and she's virtually unmolested so it's worth having it stay as is for a long while.

The car is in good hands and headed to NY. When I settle back in at home in CO this summer I will go
7 hunting again, and who knows, maybe it will be another RHD FC (or FD)! I actually grew fond of driving
on the other side and now I can't imagine owning another RX-7 that's not RHD!
