Description:

Hi guys,
I'm listing my Brilliant Black 1993 FD touring 5spd project car that's 99% complete partswise, and  completely/OEM stock, with a few reversible reliability upgrades.
It's only missing the rear Bose tubes.
Everything else is included. Frame mileage is between 97k - 99k rust free miles based on final 2006 autocheck title records.
Paint is all original other than the sunroof + sunroof surround, due to an interior vandalism fire set on the passenger seat, according to the only titled owner, who sold me the car in 2006.
The title was surrendered due to an insurance total loss claim for the interior damage, so the car would require a safety inspection as part of the re-titling process, in most states.

Known issues that need to be addressed for WA state re-titling are the ABS light now staying on after startup and the airbag light that has always stayed on (7 flashes error code).
So I've not been able to retitle it or drive it other than once in 2016 on a temporary permit. The transmission shifts smoothly.
The engine bay is currently empty due to a coolant leak issue, so the car would need to be towed or trailered, and the engine rebuilt.
The complete engine bay + 13B block are stored in plastic bins and can be inspected for condition.
The final pic is a current pic of the engine bay and the 2nd to last pic was prior to the engine pull, so you will know what is included, AC, PS pump, Air pump rad + 2 fans, intercooler, stock airbox, battery,,  ... low mileage crack free twin turbos,.all OEM pipes, etc.

It is a collision free and 99% rust free car located near Blaine WA. There are small door dings that can probably be pulled in a "paintless repair" process and tiny 1mm surface rust spots on the roof surround section between the rear hatch and sunroof and on the passenger door skin..

I'm asking $21,000 or best offer, for the complete car, but negotiable on price,
if you don't want the 1995 13B block listed on the original title, and/or engine bay support components, or any specified interior parts, I can drop the price accordingly.
If you can bring a U-haul car trailer, to where the car is located, I can haul the car within WA state or to a longhaul pickup point, if required.
Everything has been updated including the interior + carpeting,, a newer OEM catback exhaust system, all engine gaskets + hoses. All clutch hydraulic components are new.
All running lights, sunroof and power components + electronics work other than
the 2 mentioned warning lights.
The brakes did work before I pulled the motor in late June.
You would need to .check with your state vehicle licensing  office regarding  "licensing vehicles without a title" requirements.
The car cannot be imported into British Columbia as anything other than a "parts car" or "trailered race car"  without a WA state rebuilt or salvage title.
I've owned the car since 2006 but can't resolve outstanding issues, due in large part to my remote location. I hope it can find a new home with a more capable owner or closer to rotary support services.
Sorry, I can't accept trades.

I will email pics and short videos under 25mb and an Autocheck report to prospective buyers by private message only, and won't respond to unconstuctive comments posted in the listing, unless it will provide helpful additional info to buyers.
Thanks for understanding.

A few additional pics ...
The speedo/odo was replaced and reads about 13k miles higher than actual estimated miles.
I will add pics of the disassembled block, rotors + eshaft + housings + other engine bay components when I get a chance..

miles...

Do you have the title in your name?

As explained in the 1st post, the title was surrendered in a 2006 insurance claim.. There is no title. The car can be safety inspected for retitle in WA State after listed requirements are met.. Title requirements vary from state to state, and you would need to check requirements for your state.
If you send me a PM I can supply Autocheck + Carfax reports.

Pics of Housings, Irons + both E weight rotors.
All parts are covered with vaseline + plastic wrap .. (if finishes look unusual). The only noticeable stepwear I could feel was at 1/4" narrow margins at 3 + 9 oclock positions on irons.(where toothpick is placed on center iron)
One rotor apex seal slot has a small sub 1mm nick near center. I'm not sure if this merits rotor replacement or not ?
No detonation dents were found anywhere and apex slots have correct clearances for stock 13B seals. Rotor bearing sleeves look OK.
All seals are numbered for correct placements.
Prices are negotiable based on what will be included...

Those engine parts are being sold as a set or separately?

Hi Redbul,

I'm including all pictured engine bay components with the car, if desired (or separately, if someone only wants the roller for a different use, at a much lower price). Same goes for some or all interior parts.
This 95 engine + engine serial # were on the original title, FWIW.
I fear this car is going to end up being parted out, unfortunately, so that I can recover at least part of my expenses. It would be a lot easier logistically if the roller body + chassis (or the whole car) were the first items to sell. If I sell other parts of the car 1st, there is no turning back, and I have no idea how the chassis would be disposed of, where I live, if it comes to that. ... All due to a blinking airbag light that I can't resolve to satisfy re-titling rules, .. and not being able to pay to have it fixed .. due inlarge part, to my remote location. The ABS light should be a fairly easy fix .. check all 4 wheel sensors + bleed all brake lines, if necessary.

Open to any and all offers.

Cheers

List of other new build parts with "no miles" besides hoses, gaskets + seals, include :
Spark plugs + ignition wires
1991 coolant sensor, 3 rats nest relays,
fuel filter + air filter + Bosch O2 sensor
and probably $100's more, that I can't recall.
Hoses, gaskets + belts cost $500+

It looks like this car is going to end up parted out, as much as I hate going this route.

This car just sold local to us. Maybe the new owner of it can match up with your car.

Thanks Redbul, yes I saw his post. I welcome local inquiries. My focus is going to be on selling the complete frame + body as a package, if possible, because these parts are difficult to ship from my location. It a great lightweight platform for a competitive race car, in either country.

I'll save the interior for last, and try to sell that as a bundle (minus the dash) All inquiries are welcome for a parts bundle, but please .. not for interior parts at this time. The interior will be my best chance of recovering some of my project losses.
