wipers?

WA wipers?
i have a 85 gs when i turn the wipers on to the first stage (or move the arm down one click) the wipers will operate once then stop working. they work fine on all other settings. any ideas

Usually it's a bad contact point. Cold solder points. If you have the time, take apart the switch and look at the connections and relays.
