What to do with 3 first gens in storage? - Todd Van
My Father (who recently passed) had 3 Maxda RX7's in storage. They were all from approx the early 1980's and have been kept indoors and had limited use. 2 of them have been started in recent years and the third was presumably for parts. I joined this site to see if anyone has suggestsions on what I should do with these. Are their enthusiasts out there who may want them or should they be scrapped. Any suggestions??

I'm sorry to hear about your father. Our condolences.
That said, you probably came to the right place to get info on the cars. Early RX7s in good shape are hard to come by and there is definitely demand for them.
I'd suggest getting your post count up to the minimum by reading the stickied threads in the Intro sub forum:
https://www.rx7club.com/introduce-yourself-254/
Then posting a classified ad with as much info as possible. I'm sure the 1st gen enthusiasts will be interested. Another option is ebay. Its up to you.

I am sorry for such a loss.
If you do decide that you are going to proceed to sell the cars,I would advise you to take some time and See what other cars of that caliber have as a price tag.
Look over some other people's ads and Find out what they are selling their cars for.
It would be a shame to sell your Dad's prized cars and find out later that you could have gotten a lot more than just the Price of Scrap vehicle.(or get taken advantage of in your "rough time".)
Just one more thing.Unless the cars are Eaten away so much that you can See through them, they are worth Money..either as a whole or in Parts.
So,with that,I wish you luck My Friend..Cheers Styx.
OH!..Do not Forget to get PICS..Pictures will help Immensely.

sorry about your dad... so all the 1st gens that you have, do not scrap. Someone always needs something from those cars and one day there will be fewer and fewer. the true rx7 lovers will never throw away a part of the car, they will keep it for themselves or someone that will use it for something. We have to keep the cars alive!! once again sorry about your dad, I know how it feels to lose someone that you love.
