ugh..so tierd of this..clutch...

ok well i havent drove my car in a while..i needed a new map sensor..then i needed a new radiator and fan...so my car has been sitting in the same spot for at least 2 weeks...but i have started it up when ever i got the chance to do so. the clutch has always worked and has actually felt like it was a new clutch. well i went out the other night to start it up and there was no play in the clutch...no pressure at all...it was jus floppy...i could push it half way down with my finger and it would stay at that half way mark...doesnt push back or anything...im so sick of all these problems im running into...can someone plz help?

Sounds like you have a bad master cylinder, slave cylinder, or clutch line. It could be any of the three. Check for leaking fluid. The slave will tend to leak down the transmission while the master will leak into the car.

ok..well i didnt see any leaking fluid anywhere..so what do i do to determine wich one it is lol..just go out and by both of them...maybe i am looking in the wrong places for a leak...but it also has been raining here for a week now..there are no leaking fluids into the car tho...now the car is going to be sitting even longer and im sure when i get it running again something new will go wrong..

welcome to the joy of old car ownership. when it comes to old clutch hydraulics its best to replace both at once as replacing one componant will wear out the other right away.
