TN Tire size

I have read some info but I am still confused about picking the right tire size. I bought a set of Kakimoto Kai rims 17x7.5 (front) and 17x8 for the rear. They are going on to a s4 T2 that is going to be used as a daily driver and maybe some autox. Any recomendations on tire size will be a great help.

J.

It depends on if you want the super-stretched-riding-on-the-sidewalls look, or a more normal straight-sidewall look. A 215 on a 7.5" rim fits with a nice vertical sidewall. You can go up to about a 255 on an 8" rim, but a 245 would probably look a little better.

Assuming the off-set is correct and clearance isn't an issue, a maximum of 225 (7.5" wheel) and 245 (8" wheel).

I am looking for a normal look. I'll look at the off set tommorrow but when I test fitted the rims they looked good but the tires were so rotted I couldn't set it down tosee how they sit.

I just looked at the rims the offsets and rim sizes are 17x8.5 +28 and 17x7 +37. Will I have any problems with these rims?

Nope. Stock TII wheels are 16x7 +40 offset, so your front wheels are virtually the same width-wise. The rear has lots of room, so an 8.5" wheel with +28 offset should fit nicely. I have 17x8 +30 on all 4 corners, and they could still come out in the rear a little (lower offset/wider wheel).

Body mods, I thought I fixed it, sorry I was replying with my phone and the autocorrect kicked in. I am most likely going to go with a simple body kit with the stock black paint and besides the rims a single exhaust that I got for just about nothing. Now the engine depending if I still work in the same area I work in now, I'm going to have to find a new top mount intercooler. The cops there are know for everything out of the sky tickets and high small town court costs.
