tac 1200 idle
Ok I just got my seven and its been con verted to rhdrive. well my question is when i start my car cold it will start fine but if i dont keep gas down some it will die when i get it warm its got a weird idle at 1200 and its kinda bouncy but it just stays about their thou I can take a video and put it up if you guys like? I was just wonding if its my tav thats a weird or if its the bac not tuned right or one of those other things??? thanks for the help

Please make an effort to formulate proper sentences that are easy to understand. I think I know what you're asking but it's very hard to understand what you are saying.
It sounds like you have a vacuum leak, and/or a TPS out of adjustment.

Sorry I was pretty tired when i wrote it. but my question was my tac run at around 12 to 1500 rpm I was questing my tps was out adjustment... but know I have another question, how do I check for a vacuum leak? ... I was checking for any loose or missing hoses but i didnt see any. Im still guessing the Tps but I just got it so I still and trying to find out what the last owner did. lol thanks thou aaron all your posts help me out

The easiest way to check for a vacuum leak is to spray water around the engine while it's running. When it sucks in the water, the idle will change. Where it sucks in the water indicates the general location of the leak.
