swap 85 gslse differential in to my 82 gsl?

I was wondering if anybody could give me some guidance, i know my 82 gsl differential has drums, and im swapping in my 85 gslse with rear wheel disc brakes, i know ill need new brake lines and swap the e brake cable for an 85, would i face any other problems during the swap or is that basically it? ive asked around and thats all ive heard about it. any help will be greatly appreciated....

I don't think the '82 driveshaft under your car will actually bolt up the the differential...the spacing on the bolt holes on the diff is different that the bolts on the driveshaft. Any way of getting the driveshaft from wherever you got the rear-end?

82 GSL has drum?
My 83 GSL had disc brakes in the rear. Maybe it was an available option those years? I remember because they leaked and I had to rebuild them. I think it was LSD too (if I remember right), but I never messed with that. Maybe I had a frankenstein car without even knowing it!
