you have to remember your car has been sitting for a long time. and if it had a decent amount of fuel left in it. the tank needs to be drained and cleaned. there is a drain plug on the bottom of the tank for this purpose. and after you drain and clean the tank if your car still doesnt start, remember, you need 4 basic things to start any engine. air, fuel, spark, and compression. cover your basics then see where you stand. good luck

idk if this will help but it this works all the time for me. the 2 inner fuses by the battery needs to be pull out. then turn the key and crank it for about 15 to 20 seconds. put the two fuses back in and then start the car.. works all the time for me

someone correct me if im wrong but isnt it a really bad thing to let a rotary sit that long. ive been told that if they sit that long that the motor can lock up. it would be amazing if the motor would still turn over after sitting that long

I have no clue what a fc3 is but I have a 87' RX-7 thats been sitting for bout 4 yrs. and my fuel pump is bad. Easy enuf to check . . . the connection for the pump is behind the carpet on the driver side rear strut tower, turn the key on and see if you have juice.
