Starting Problem
My car would only start if I compression started it for about a day. I bought a used starter for it and before I put it in, the car started starting again. I changed it out anyway, because the mechanic tested the one he sold me and I knew that it worked. Did fine for about 2 days, now I am haveing starting issues again. For a while it starts with no issue, turn key - Fire, no struggle. Then it will have lights on, and all I hear is a faint spin, not a tick, a spin. At that point I must push start, but after I do that, shut it off, it starts right up like nothing happened. It is often enough to **** me off, but not all the time. HELP!!!!!!!!! Thanks

This is a common problem on the FC/FD's there isn't enough current to the starter to activate the starter. Normally people will install a relay to the start to help keep full current to the starter.
I am not talking about the main power to the start but the smaller wire that turns the starter on.
