Are spark plugs L1 and T1 located closest to the front of the car?

(My car is a 1991 coupe na but I don't think that matters for this question)
I know the leading spark plugs are located on the bottom and the trailing ones on top but are the spark plugs with the number one (L1,T1) located closest to the front of the car or closest to the back? I like quick answers but I would appreciate if someone could link me to an engine diagram which clearly points them out. The spark plug coil terminals are located by the battery for the leading plugs and the trailing plug coil terminals are by the master cylinder, so I am specifically looking for a diagram which shows me the plug locations on the housing, thanks

Yes, the front rotor is # 1, and the rear rotor is #2. "T" and "L" are on the housings, with the trailing being on top.

I think they should have named the Rotor housings "T" And "A"...
.."T" being the Front and the "A" being the Rear of the engine!
Everyone knows where T's and A's are!

If you look hard enough the rotor housings have 1 and 2 stamped into them
