Small question on LIM/VDI
I bought a series 4 motor, and im swapping it into my series 5 (low income + running motor = that decision). Now, I understand that the series 4 2nd gens were 4 ports, and that the series 5 were 6 ports. And if I'm correct the two extra ports are operated by the split air valve in the LIM.
Since my engine is a series 4 can I leave the auxiliary port valves out? Should I install them as usual? Or should I plug them.

all series 4 and 5 are 6 port engines, just different ways of activating the ports.
keep the lower manifold and provide back pressure to the Port actuators.

This isn't related but I didn't want to keep starting new threads for my questions which are basically little snags in installing an engine for the first time. When I removed the engine, I noticed there was no connector on the end of the power steering pressure sensor. I drove the car a few times, and it seemed "ok". Can I wait to replace this, or is this something I need to fix asap? I've looked and I can't seem to find much information on this.
