Sitting too long???

i am looking at buying an FD and it has been sitting for 3-5 months
it starts and runs
but should i be worried about anything in particular?
it is a long ways away from my house 7 hours and i dont want to be in for trouble

5 months should not be too much of a problem. The standard tune up stuff done when you purchase the car should take care of any small issues the sitting will cause. Just make sure to give the car a thorough inspection for anything that may have been effected by long term sitting (sticking brakes, insect nests, etc.). Make sure to replace the fuel filter (which is just TONNES of fun on an FD...).

will the apex seals have any issues?

Usually it takes longer than that to cause apex seal spring problems.

Expect to have loads of maintenance to do on the car. Anything rubber or fluid should be replaced.

do i need to worry about driving it back 7 hours?

are you saying everything rubber has to be replaced
