I have an 87 RX7 (obviously) NA. I mess around with my lights sometimes and I was looking at some of the albums on here and decided that some of mine must not be working or something. First off, are there brights on the RX7? Second, are the stock lights (whatever is directly below the headlights) operational? Mine don't work. So if they are operational do I have a short somewhere or do I need new bulbs? If they aren't where can i get ones that are? Also the lower fogs that some people have, where can I get those? Thanks for any info. Also if anyone can tell me answers to the same questions regarding the back side lights. Thanks again.

 

Yes, you are supposed to have high beams. If it's not working, the problem could lie with the left turn signal / high beam switch.

The lenses below the pop-up headlights do not have bulbs. If you pull the lever for the high beams while the lights are lowered, they will shine through. These are flash to pass (FTP) lenses.

Fog lights came on some S5 models. S4 bumpers are not set up for them, and there is no wiring.

 

Damn. That is unfortunate about the fogs. My left turn signal is fine so it must be my brights. Is the switch for the high beams directly above the lights ****? And how do the brights work if there is only the one light for them? Do they just get brighter?
I think I better start researching wiring... after I put on my cf hood, replace the vacuum lines, put on S5 tails and fix my oil leak and exhaust leak...
