hi rx7 club community. i have a question please i need help with

i have an 88FC Convertible drives good and everything, now when i take it to Autocross and start driving it aggressively around the corner once the tail starts to slide. the engine stops for a second or two like if the computer cuts the fuel!

now my question is this some type of the 80's traction control ??
and how to stop it ??

because it really kills the fun and the potential of the car handling

Traction control? Nope. Doesn't exist.

Rusted out baffles in the fuel tank or a dirty fuel sock will cut fuel under high Gs. This is also mentioned in the 2nd gen FAQ.
