Replace Coolant Seals, or new engine?
So, I'm pretty sure I have a blown coolant seal (Thick white smoke on startup which smells sweet, hard hot starts, excess pressure in the coolant system).
I'm kinda new to rotaries and i was wondering if i should get it replaced (if so how much time/money is involved with that)
or if i should just swap in a new 13b.
thanks.

Both solutions will work.
Since "new" 13b's are scarcely available, I assume you mean a used motor. The risk of the used motor is not knowing exactly how well it will run. The risk with rebuilding your motor is taking longer and not knowing how many parts need replaced (how much it will cost). It's up to you.

In order to replace the coolant seal's you have to crack the engine open. Which means your going to need to replace alot of soft seals anyway your better off finding a local guy to do a rebuild. You can get another engine from the junkyard but i wouldnt recomend it unless you know what your doing. Ive used an engine from a junkyard here for about a month until i got my old rebuilt.
