Rear wiper not working

I just got my 93 FD and I can't seem to get the rear wiper working.

Should it move when I spray wiper fluid with the front wipers?

I can also move it with my hand, is this bad?

If you can move it by hand the wiper gearing is not connected or broken somehow.

Fortunately I'd guess you can get a used gear/motor pretty cheap on the classifieds.

i can move mine with my hand and it still works so i would check the fuse or check the contacts in the back because mine did the same thing.

In that case it might be user error... should it come on when I squirt washer fluid on the front windsheid?
