Really new to rotaries

A freind of mine has an '87 Turbo II RX7. The car was wrecked about two years ago. Hes been trying to sell it with no success for quite some time. He finally mentioned it to me at a good price.

1. The car is totaled.
2. The motor has port work, 3mm seals, and rebuild from Atkins.
3. There's a lightweight flywheel in the car.
4. I know nothing about rotarys nor mazdas.
5. I wanna put the engine, trans, and ecu in another car I already have.
6. Don't get mad, The RX7 is non repairable, the other car is my 200SX nissan.

What do I need to know? Please tell me anything you may think I don't know. I can weld. The eta is the summer after next. Should I grab this Mazda or not. I see it has a flap type Airflow and stock turbo- enlightin me to the ecu impasses in making more power-cranking the boost a bit.

I'm aware that I may need to seriously mod my trans tunnel- The Nissan weighs 2750 with it's original motor, me, and a half tank of gas in it.

Here's the potential Rotary victim;

That weight-to-power ratio will make this swap a lot of fun. However, being a 1stgen, carbureted guy myself, I defer to the GSL-SE and 2ndgen guru's to answer all of your questions correctly...

Question

Thanks for the reply mar3.

I'm lookin over the FSM for this turbo2. Plan on getting the motor, trans, harness, Air-flow. I also figure I should grab the fuel-pump and gauges. I don't have the FSM infront of me right now. But I'm sure there's a few other things I need to.

Here's a few questions I have though;
1: The radiator is smashed- any special requirements for a rotary?
2: Is there ignitors/power transistors?
3: I haven't gottin to the mega-squirt section yet, but is there any way to loose the flap-type Air-flow? Apexi?
4: The seller says it's Atikins stage 3 port and polish- What does that mean? CFM? Non-bridge? What?
5: What is the stock rear gear in a '87 RX7 Turbo2? I'll find it- but spill the beans if you know, Is there any type of posi/LSD back there?

This thing has a light weight flywheel, and I suspect rotarys don't have much mass. Anyone with a similar combo know where your letting your clutch out on a street start? Change your gears?
