really need some help s4 86 rx7 na

i have a s4 86 rx7 that just came back to life after 2 weeks of sitting in front my friends house (major flooding) and its in limp mode right now, i want to bring it to a shop to get it looked at and worked on specically this shop http://www.larsonsrotary.com/
if not im just gonna get it towed
or if anyone knows any closer shops that are trustworth let me know

but heres the whole story

i bought my rx7 with a exhaust leak sounded really bad and smelled like fuel inside the car, so i got it fixed at just any shop, after it got worked on i felt loss in power. after a couple of days i started the car and it was in limp mode, wont go past 3,000rpm. i drove it to my friends house. then drove it home the top coolant hose was steaming and spraying some coolant everywhere, was at about 230. (water temp gauge). fixed that the next day. then started it next day wouldnt start.
after 2-3 weeks a friend helped me out got it starting again, (really really flooded) but it was still in limp mode. and cant seem to find whats wrong with it

The S4 (86-88) has NO limp mode,so it has to be something else.The computer does not go into Limp mode..Only On a S5(89-91) will it go into Limp mode.
Check the compression,as you overheated it.(or got it Hot anyways,so I'd be checking the compression).
also check the Injector wiring as you say you are not getting over 3000,.Maybe the secondaries are not firing.

thanks. most of the people i know has been telling me its in limp mode or so and right now im trying to get the engine codes. you think it would be alright to bring it to a normal import car shop/mechanic to get the compression and injectors checked?

They most likely laugh at ya,no offense.Most mechanics tend to steer away from the rotary engine as they can't comprehend spinning triangles!
..Google: rx7 compression check,for starters.
also take the cap off the cooling system and try starting it.IF cooolant gushes out when you roll it over the engine is most likely blown.
