porting questions
do u have to port the engine when you rebuild it? if so whats the best porting i dont want a bridge port i want something a little friendlier to gas mileage. any helpful information would be appriciated. thank you.

no u don't have to port it when u rebuild it. keeping the stock port will yield the best mpg. enlarging the ports will leave u needing more fuel to go with the increased air coming in due to porting.

i second this; mild streetport is the way to go.. im also doing the same with mine, its currently in rhode island being rebuilt and getting a streetport. i didnt want to go with a full bridgeport; those ports are more for track use and they dont exactly help the life span of the motor..

depends on what you want out of your motor/car....mild streetport for most applications...but i wouldnt suggest you do this yourself as there are many things you shouldnt do that will greatly impact how your motor runs....
