Porting 13b with 13b-rew Stencil
Hey everyone!!!
I was trying to look on the search for keywords like "porting" or "13b" to find what I was looking for but horribly failed so I am going to take the cheap way out and ask on here. Does anyone know if there is like a 13b-rew stencil that I could use for a general sizing when I port my engine. I saw a video by option 2 (or at least i think it was option 2) with Amamiya doing a porting job with a 13b-rew stencil. I was just curious as to where I could print one out or if anyone has one that they would be willing to share. Thanks in advance!!!

Sure. Most port shapes end up about the same anyway in the street port arena. The one thing you need to watch for is whether the port template asks you to grind away in an area that is thinner on your 13B casting. That of course is part of where the art is when porting.
I don't know of any templates you can download and print out, and I would hope that someone wouldn't give you a copy of a vendor's template that they have (that's kind of like piracy). All the vendors sell port templates that they have put considerable development into (imagine how many images they would have had to build to refine the shape). For the minimal investment (generally $50 or so) the templates are worth the money.
