ON Pan Speed Tuning

I have finally picked up my FD3S and I am in the process of checking out what mods have been done on this car.
Looking at the ECU, it is a N3A7 18 881C and has 3 different pan speed tune stickers on it. The newest looking sticker has FDB-98BF, and FDF 88DF marked on it. Does anyone here have any pan speed experience that might be able to shed some light on what kind of tune this might have. Is there a contact email for Pan Speed, their website only lists a phone number.

I don't know the answer to your question, but if you're new to FD's the most important element to understand about the tune is how much boost it supports. Keeping an FD engine safe starts with proper boost control.

I can say for sure that if it has stock injectors you're not going above 12psi. Most reflash tunes only take you from stock (10psi) to the limit of the injectors (12-13psi). Until you find out I would keep your boost limited to 10psi since the stock tune covers that.

thanks dgeesaman, i hear the bov go at .8 kg/cm2 which converts to 11.4 psi, so at least I know now that nothing is being pushed too far. I am happy with the cars performance and the engine runs very well. Until I get into identifying some of the parts, i'll leave things as they are.
