Question OEM Oil Cooler? Possible Coolant Leak?

Hi did all Rx7s come with OEM Oil coolers? I looked into my bumper the other day and i couldn't see one. If i did have one where would it be located? (im guessing it should be right in front)
I think i might also have a possible Coolant Leak in the middle of my radiator... There's like a big dry green spot in the middle of my radiator and seems kinda brown like right in the middle of it, might be rust? and the spot is on both sides of the radiator... how worried should i be about this?

Im also planning on buying an aftermarket Koyorad all aluminum radiator soon but i cant seem to find a good fan shroud and electric fan that would fit correctly. any recommendations? Thanks!

There should be an oil cooler. However, the location may be different depending on the year. For instance, some later 1st gens used a water-oil type oil cooler under the oil filter. Most of the RX-7s have air cooled oil coolers located up front, but to tell you where to look, we first need to know what year of RX-7 that we are talking about here.

Profile says 87 RX7.
the oil cooler should sit on mounts in between the rad and the front bumper.just under there.
If you think you have a leak in your rad you should check the coolant level and overflow frequently.Clean off your rad on the outside,go for a drive and check the rad for any leakgae or signs of coolant disappearing.
A koyo rad is a better option.Keep your stock rad mounts( the mounts on the old radiator) as you will need them to put the Koyo onto the car.
Some Good Fan options are the Mercury Villager Efan or Ford Taurus,or Feiro Fan.(www.aaroncake.net).They have a shroud incorporated into the assembly.
Another option is just stick with the Good old Stock Fan( there is nothing wrong with a functional stock fan) and run a Corksport Shroud.

mmm yeah i have a 1987 S4. i checked under the bumper and there isnt an oil cooler but there is a hose that comes from the driver side and goes across the length of the rad and then loops back towards driver side. it seems like it might be leaking oil like substance....
i also took a really close look at the "leak on my radiator" and its actually like a blue color not green...

oh yeah forgot to ask. how much would a good condition OEM Oil cooler cost? my car does seem to be running warm according to the coolant temp gauge. oh yeah i flushed my whole coolant system less then 8 months ago and two months ago i blew a heater hose and the car overheated but my instant reaction was to turn off the car right when i saw steam coming out from my hood and put in a new hose / coolant. car still runs good but should i be concerned any gaskets or seals? haha

The piece you described sounds more like the Power steering lines the loop back. The OEM oil cooler looks like this...

Notice my sig, mine is n/a as well. And I have an extra oil cooler if you want to buy it. You'll have to buy the lines from an auto parts store or online cause I have to replace mine, one of them blew recently.
