Nikki 4barrel to 48 IDA Weber downdraft conversion
Hey all,
Having issues with my 4 Barrel, and have always wanted to put a 48IDA Weber on, so got one. Car is an rx2 coupe with an 84 rx7 12a. IDA and manifold is from Racing Beat.
I have a few questions for those that have done this - have searched forums but seems to be some varied opinions.
How/what did you do with fuel lines? Did you keep the return line? Should I be taking the double outlet banjo from the 4 barrel and putting on the IDA - and install keeping all fuel lines the same? I currently have a Carter 4070 (with no regulator which I also want to rectify). If keeping the return line that's there currently. Should I get a regulator that has a return on it - and run the return back from that. Or a straight through type and use the return from the banjo at the carb?
OMP - planning to block this off and run pre-mix.
Vacuum lines - to my understanding/research. I remove these and just leave the distributor ends open?
Appreciate any help from those who have done/run this setup!
