MN New RX7 buyer

Hey I found a 1988 rx7 in a used lot for $500. it has a very nice body and a decent inside... however the thing wont start... they claim someone drove it in and traded it for something else... its a 1.3L with 98k on it... is this a good buy.. should I try and start it... It turned over but its cold here and I didn't wanna take anymore time... however I will try and start it on Mon or Tues and see.... what does everyone think good??? bad????

It may simply be flooded. This happens. Read up in the 2nd gen FAQ thread about unflooding a rotary. Also check for no-start problems.

You'll also find how to buy links in the FAQ which will answer the question "Is this a good buy?".

If a car is worth it is all in the eye of the buyer.
