i have a 87 rx7 n/a, i can only start my car if i jump start it, or right after i charge the battery. the alternator checks out, its all good. but if i turn my car off the battery is immediatly dead. the battery looks new, maybe a couple months old. any ideas? the starter and everything works good

Sounds like a dead battery.

Also check the conditions of the cables which connect to the battery.

Do an amperage draw test if the battery is good.

Charge the battery overnight.
Be sure the connections are tight.

If the main fuse was blown, most of the car wouldn't work.
