Need help with a blocked off oil line?????
I just got a 93 FD (LOVE IT BTW) I jacked it up the other day and found a oil line that runs from stock twins some place to the back off the car???? It runs underneath the car right next to the exhaust/drive shaft and right around where the CAT should be some previous owner just blocked off this mysterious oil line so now it does go any wehre. It just has a bolt in it with a clamp to stop it from leaking??? I look through so much stuff and did research but can't figure out what this oil line is originally there for? Please help. Could it be that it was running to the rear differential? That does seem right to me though since diffs use a heavy gear oil

That is not an oil line, it is an air line. Someone did a half assed cat removal.
To finish the job, remove that line, remove the ACV and install a blockoff plate, and remove the air pump.
Just search the FD forum for "emissions removal" or "air pump removal". Or check the FAQ because it is likely listed there as well.

Oh that makes perfect sense. My car doesn't have a cat, just a magnaflow straight through muffler in its place. I just though it was a oil line cuz there was oil all over the place but after a quick clean up today I found out that its from one of the turbo return oil lines (gasket must be shot). Thanks a ton
