Might be time for a rebuild, Correct me if im wrong.

This is not what I wanted to do for my first thread but

I recently bought a 10th ae turbo II, It ran pretty good when I first got it but it smoked a little bit, I was told that the smoke was because the omp was removed and the premix was too much...Fast forward a couple days, It runs great, goes it to boost smooth and then one night it took a little bit to start, I get it started and drive it around fine, the next morning I get up and start it up and drive to the store, when i get done shopping it wont crank or nothing, I get a couple of friends to push start it and it drives fine, When I get home I turn it off and go inside. The next day I take the starter to autozone and its bad so I order a new one, I install that one and the motor clicks and turns over very slow. Thinking it was a bad ground or a wire problem I jump the starter with jumper cables, and it still does the same thing, at this point I start worrying about the motor being locked up so i go to the main pulley and turn it over with a wrench and it turns over fine. at this point I notice that there is coolant dripping from the turbo manifold. thinking that the turbo might be leaking coolant, i decide to pull the turbo, as I pull the coolant line from off the side of the turbo, tons of coolant comes rushing out, and I mean a lot, like maybe a 1/4 half a gallon. Is that normal? does the turbo really store that much coolant? It seems to me that some of the coolant might be coming out of the exhaust itself. but im not sure...The engine has 28k miles on the AR master kit...does this sound like a rebuild problem, TIA

It does not sound like a rebuild issue.
The coolant system runs coolant through the turbos. They don't have their own coolant. So, of course it poured coolant out. What if you pulled the drain from the radiator? You would expect a lot of coolant right?
It sounds like you have a number of issues.
1. Bad battery cables or bad/dirty battery terminal connections.
2. A bad coolant hose at the turbo.
3. Possibly injectors that need to be cleaned.

Yeah, you drained half of the water out of the block when you removed the water line. You'll need a replacement gasket: http://www.mazdatrix.com/b9wpumps.htm, PN 13-5350-N386.

And the starting problem is probably due to corrosion on the battery terminal/cable. I just had a similar problem and solved it with some baking soda and water. Works great for cleaning the terminals. Charge your battery if you haven't already done it.
