If you have a leak from the weep hole on the water pump, then you need to replace the pump. Stop leak won't do anything. The weep hole is there to let you know when the internal seal fails and allows water into the bearing.

Already replaced it and i'm not entirely sure as to where the exact leak is but haven't really had time to look into it until i get a day off, wondering if it'd work as a temporary fix without any negative repercussions to it.

No! If you do have to use something like that, use Alumaseal. It is aluminum based, and stands less of a chance of messing things up for you. Brass or Copper (stop leak) will tear **** up in a hurry.

I have used Alumaseal in the past with excellent results.

^^^ Yes, if it is leaking at the pump (not sure if that is what you are saying), then you need to replace it right away...
