MO manual steering rack bearing 87TII

My car is a 1987 mazda rx7 Turbo II left hand drive. I was going through my manual steering rack when I encountered a tapered caged bearing that was missing a ball. After going through the whole rack I found no loose ball floating around. I assume someone had it apart before me.This bearing is at the bottom of the vertical stub shaft. I asked around at the local Mazda dealership and the parts guy found no part number. I went to a power transmission shop that can usually get me any bearing I bring in. I informed them that this is not a heavy load bearing. They measured the bearing and did some research but had no luck. I am throwing around the idea of either reusing the bearing and dealing with a minute vibration upon turning the wheel or replacing the whole rack. I was wondering if anyone has ever had luck finding this bearing. Thanks I feel like I could be ***** out of luck.
